You can go from the minimum size to a larger one depending on whether your tendency would be to trek to the course alone by yourself or whether you would like to mix more socializing with the game by accommodating a few golfing friends too who make it to the same course. You should of course load your golf cart only according to its size and engine power, since most golf courses would have hazardous terrain with very steep inclines that could make the going rather dangerous especially when overloaded to the extent of muzzling the engine’s pulling power. You would do well to stick to better-known makes for reliability in order to avoid possible breakdowns and misadventures.
 

Having a golf cart of your own would make these trips much more enjoyable than when hiring one for a group. You could equip it with a stereo setup just like in a regular car so that you could enjoy some good music not only in between courses, but also have your stereo system blaring out some continuous music while you are playing after parking your golf cart at a vantage point on the course. There are other improvisations that you may add to your cart from time to time depending on your priorities and tastes be it for more power, luggage or passenger space, fuel efficiency, speed, aesthetic look, enjoyment or glamour.

 

You may even consider getting one custom made through one of several golf cart manufacturers/fabricators or on your own by hiring some helpers if you are a do-it-yourself enthusiast with some knowledge of motor mechanism and light engineering works.
